Forget unlimited free downloads, lets rewind to when evenings of entertainment were filled with the melody of the piano. Well, thanks to the piano's dotted all over central London courtesy of the 'Play me I'm Yours' and 'Sing London Festival' http://www.streetpianos.com/ you can now play a tune on your way home, on your way to work, or on your way to the shops. If, like me you rather not sit near a piano at the vague chance that you might be tempted to play chopsticks and embarrass yourself, there seems to always be a charming lady or gentleman who practiced after those painful piano lessons!

Aardvark

I am really excited about the potential of Aardvark (www.vark.com), I've only just found out about it but it seems the possibilities are endless with such a wealth of knowledge shared by people just like you and me. We all love a good boast now don’t we, and what better way to boast about the things you know than to share them with others. A modern day superpower I think....now there's a thought!

Pizza Hit rebrands to The Hut

With a significant decline in sales, Pizza Hut is responding to the tough economic times by launching a new branding strategy. Will ‘The Hut’ make you want to eat out again?

The subject points to a discussion on whether or not the choice to move away from a brand name that has had such an impact both on our screens and in our bellies for over 50 years is worth it?
Is this the 'new you' era for brands? We've seen it with Norwich Union, ooops I mean 'Aviva' and now with Pizza Hut...oops sorry I mean ‘The Hut'. Is this just another publicity stunt, just like the Pasta Hut campaign? Or will this stick? Time will tell!

Jimmy Choo for H&M

Forget celebrity weddings this is what we've all been waiting for. Two of the most influential powers in fashion combine to create a super power. The Jimmy Choo collection will be launched in 200 H&M stores worldwide on November 14th and will be available in the UK at the Oxford Circus, London W1 flagship and branches in major cities. That's a date for the diary!

Can you kick it?

Well with your very own customized Reebok trainers, you sure can! Reebok has become the first shoe maker to offer a shoe customisation application for the iPhone and I love it! Choose your shoe, customize it and buy it. It’s that simples.
I know we’ve seen it all before with Nike but it’s nice to see that brands have found a way to start making money from the application revolution!

Duck Island

This definitely doesn't float my..erm DUCK. Sir Peter Viggers is to sell his infamous floating duck house for charity. Silver lining or a poor attempt at polishing a turd....the latter, I think!

Fetch!

Need volume for funny commentary!

Ooh...You Cheeky Monkey

Monkeys.....now who doesn't love monkeys?! They're funny, intelligent and there are some beautiful species, yet apparently not approachable. Here are a few facts I thought funny about monkeys, selected at random ;)

- Monkeys do not like to be touched (unless instructed to do so by Monkey)
- Do not make direct eye contact with Monkey for more than 4 seconds
- Monkeys have an IQ of 174
- Monkeys have no patience
- Monkeys love to be massaged, however, do not rub Monkeys the wrong way
- Monkeys can and will exhibit outbursts of sudden and deadly rage if provoked
